The first thing to do is check you are logging into the right place. If you are completing a qualification with a training provider or college anywhere in the world, you will have a unique URL for that Laser.

Please check that you are seeing your organisation’s logo in the top left corner of the login screen. If it is not the correct logo, you are trying to login to the wrong Laser which is why your login details are not recognised. You may need to go back to the original email you were sent by your training organisation to retrieve the URL or contact your assessor or training provider directly.

This often happens if you use Google search to get to a login screen. Google will most likely take you to the incorrect Laser login page for your organisation as we cannot control which of the many Lasers will be returned as a result on Google, and if you are not training with the organisation the results give you, you will not be able to login.

If you are seeing the message ‘user no longer active’ this means your organisation has suspended your account. You must contact the organisation directly to ask them to reinstate your account, our team do not have the authority to do this.

If you are completing a short course please make sure you are logging in here.

If you are using Laser Lessons rather than the Laser e-portfolio please make sure you are logging in here.

Our customer service team is available to guide you through using any of our Laser products. You can call us Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm (GMT), or you can use our out-of-hours service for urgent technical support, such as an unexpected error message.

If you are outside the UK we ask you get in touch so we can arrange a time to suit you to explain things in more detail. We will happily work to your time zone, but we may need some time beforehand to ensure a member of the team is available.

Not at all.

We work very closely with NCFE CACHE and this working relationship is very important to us. NCFE CACHE endorse our learning programme, e-portfolio, learning resources, and the majority of our childcare CPD short courses. However, the Laser e-portfolio can be used to deliver leading UK awarding organisation qualifications, and our learning resources incorporate the differences between these awarding organisations as you can see here.

You can use the e-portfolio without learning resources, or you can use the Laser Lessons platform alongside a different e-portfolio.

The Laser e-portfolio incorporates the learning resources which are available separately on a Laser Lessons system. Laser Lessons is specifically for those who do not want to purchase the Laser e-portfolio or are already using a different e-portfolio. The advantage of using the Laser as your e-portfolio is that learners can access everything in one place.

The Laser is equipped with everything you need to deliver apprenticeships. The Laser incorporates the development diary, end point assessment (EPA), and even calculates your 20% off-the-job training for each apprentice.

These additions have been made in keeping with our ‘simple to use’ ethos.

If you’re delivering apprenticeships, you simply need to let us know which courses/qualifications you would like added to the Laser to make up your apprenticeship standards.

It’s very easy.

Our team have experience working as assessors and IQAs, and with EQAs, and have also experienced awarding organisation, funding, and Ofsted audits. We ask that you let us know that you are expecting or about to begin any audit so we know any enquiries will be urgent. Any auditor can be given secure access to the Laser to view whichever learners and assessors you please.

They can view everything they need including start up paperwork, workplans, communication with assessor and IQA, contact time, time in learning, lessons accessed, feedback, RAG code, progress reviews, employer engagement, completion paperwork, and certification.

Yes, it can.

The Laser e-portfolio and Laser Lessons are setup with your organisation logo so your learners and staff know they are in the right place. We can also include your branding on the certificates issued for your CPD learners.

You can use the Laser e-portfolio as your chosen e-portfolio for courses and qualifications without learning resources.

The only training our team provides is assessor and IQA training for international clients using the awarding organisation, CACHE.

Laser Systems and Laser Learning are not a training provider for any other form of qualification and we have no affiliation with the organisation Laser Learning Awards.

If you are looking to complete a qualification you will need to find an appropriate training provider or college for your training.
